I worked as a Software Development Engineer for Amazon Kindle from 2014-2016, handling the design, building, and maintenance of several back-end Java services as well as full-stack development for an internal Ruby on Rails website.

I was promoted to Project Manager after two years, adding management duties on top of my existing development work.
